Application note

Field deployment: CFS 3-phase induction charger

Proven in production
3-phase induction charger — commercial food service
The TNX-A01 was developed to solve a real problem: existing 25×25mm HF antennas did not deliver reliable object identification across the full operating distance of a 3-phase induction charging platform for commercial food service equipment. Our improved coil geometry extended read range by over 37% versus the previous antenna, eliminating false negatives at the edge of the charging zone.
Challenge
Insufficient read range from standard 25×25mm antenna causing missed detections at maximum charger operating distance.
Solution
Proprietary coil geometry optimization within the same 25×25mm form factor. No PCB redesign required. Drop-in replacement.
Result
Measurably superior read range vs. standard 25×25mm catalog antennas — measured at identical reader output power. Validated in production deployment.
Integration note: For induction charging applications, ensure the antenna is mounted with its coil plane parallel to the charging surface and the object tag. Ferrite shielding behind the antenna is recommended when mounting against metallic chassis. Contact us for application-specific guidance.
